Our Journey: The History and Mission of Mr Green
Give us a callMr Green Home Services, established in 1992, is a proud 100% Kiwi owned nationwide franchise.
The brand originated when Tom Trapp, a Wellington lawn mowing contractor, returned home covered in grass and was playfully dubbed “Mr Green” by his wife. This sparked the creation of a company that has become a leader in home and commercial cleaning, as well as garden and lawn care in New Zealand.
Now under the ownership of Mark McIlroy, Mr Green features around 200 franchisees and 26 regional owners across the country. Our franchisees enjoy the independence of running their own businesses while benefitting from our support and training. We carefully select motivated individuals with strong people skills to ensure top-notch service.
With operations from Northland to Invercargill, Mr Green is dedicated to delivering exceptional value and care across New Zealand.
