The Mr Green Franchise System
Give us a callMr Green is a franchise system with three tiers:
Tier 1. Mark McIlroy is the company owner (Head Office)
Tier 2. Regional Master Franchisors report to the Head Office.
Tier 3. Operator Franchisees working at the local level report to each Regional Master Franchisor.
The two types of franchises that are available for purchase are Tier 2 (Regional Master Franchisors) and Tier 3 (Operator Franchisees).
Regional Master Franchisor
Reports to Head Office and owns the rights for Mr Green in a geographical area for a service, for example someone owns the Wellington Lawn Mowing Regional Master Franchise.
A Mr Green Regional Master Franchisor owns the rights to use the Mr Green brand and system in an area for a set service.
They earn income in 3 ways:
- Their own work, that is they mow lawns themselves or clean or perform the service which they have the right to under their franchise agreement.
- They sell franchises to people who also perform these services, these people become Operator Franchisees to the Regional Master Franchisor.
- They collect weekly fees from their own Operator Franchisees.
Operator Franchisee
Reports to the Regional Master Franchisor, they own their own franchise in the set region for the service along with other Operator Franchisees, for example Jo Bloggs mows lawns in Wellington.
How much can you earn?
Our highest earning Regional Master Franchisors earn well over $150,000 per year. This is from a mixture of their own work and the collection of weekly fees.
Some Regional Master Franchisors earn over $150,000 per year just from their own work and may choose to employ people to help them do the work if they can’t find suitable franchisees. Other Regional Master Franchisors collect over $150,000 pa from weekly fees.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Mr Green team as a new franchisee. With spring just around the corner, we have plenty of work to be done.
Mr Green Franchises comes with an existing client base so you are able to start working and earning on day one. You can decide how much you would like to earn a week as we can offer you different packages to suit you. Our franchises come with a weekly income of $1400, $1600 or $1800, you can choose any of these.
You will be provided with full training from the local Regional Manager who has been with Mr Green for 22 years.
There is opportunity to gain extra income by adding on:
• Hedge trimming/ tree work
• Section tidies
• Gardening
• Rubbish removal
Your franchise along with a client list will include a Mower, Edge trimmer, Blower (all regularly serviced and filter change) or you can buy all equipment. A high sided sign written trailer (Rego and WOF) wool bales for grass collection, uniform and safety gear.

We have a lawn mowing franchise on the Kapiti Coast for sale. It comes with clients so you are earning from day one. You can choose a guaranteed weekly income of either $1000, $1500 or $2000.
The $1000 week option costs $20,000 plus equipment
The $1500 week option costs $30,000 plus equipment
The $2000 week option costs $40,000 plus equipment
You will also need a suitable vehicle and / or trailer.
